Terms of Service
Ten Thousand Schools is an evolving martial-arts life simulation. The live Alpha is playable, but its balance, content, presentation, saves, and availability may change as the game grows.
Using the game
By accessing or playing Ten Thousand Schools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to accept these terms where you live. A minor should play only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.
What the Alpha service includes
The service provides browser-based character creation, game simulation, cloud save storage, save export and import, and related public information pages. We may tune, add, reorganize, suspend, reset, or remove features and content. We work to preserve and migrate active saves, but permanent preservation and uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. Export a character periodically if the save matters to you.
Save access and responsibility
No identity account is required at launch. A private, randomly generated save identifier is the key used to retrieve a character. Keep that identifier and any exported save file private. Anyone who obtains one may be able to access the associated character. You are responsible for the names and other material you put into a save and for keeping your own exports secure.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and in a way that does not harm the game or other people. Do not attack, probe, overload, disrupt, or bypass the service; automate requests at abusive volume; introduce malicious code; impersonate someone else; attempt to discover another player's save identifier; interfere with another person's save; or use the game to violate another person's rights.
Imported and user-supplied material
You retain whatever rights you already have in material you lawfully provide. You give Logan Pendragon Forge the limited permission needed to store, process, display, and restore that material as part of the game. Do not import or submit confidential data, unlawful material, malware, or content you do not have the right to use.
Martial arts, health, and safety
The game is entertainment, not martial-arts instruction, coaching, medical advice, nutrition advice, mental-health care, legal advice, or proof of real-world ability. Its training, injury, recovery, self-defense, weapons, and competition systems are deliberately simplified. Never attempt a technique because it worked in the game. Ownership
Ten Thousand Schools, its original code, writing, interface, fictional elements, art direction, and branding belong to Logan Pendragon Forge or are used under applicable licenses. These terms do not transfer that ownership. You may use your exported save for personal backup and play. You may not present the game or its original material as your own, remove ownership notices, or commercially redistribute substantial portions without permission.
Third-party services and links
The game relies on hosting and infrastructure providers and may link to websites outside Logan Pendragon Forge. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content or availability of an unrelated third-party site.
Availability, enforcement, and changes
We may limit or end access when necessary to address abuse, security, legal requirements, maintenance, or risks to other players. We may also change these terms as the service changes. Material revisions will receive a new effective date and will be noted on the changelog when practical. Continued use after a revision takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Disclaimers and limits
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, fully accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose. Logan Pendragon Forge is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from use of the Alpha service. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
